Class 2 Study Guide

How Class 2 students can practise homework, avoid common mistakes, and use AI tools as a tutor—not as a copy-paste answer key.

How to study in Class 2

Class 2 adds longer sentences, addition/subtraction stories, and noticing plants, animals, and daily habits. The goal is accuracy and confidence, not speed.

A practical weekly method

  • Read one short paragraph daily and retell it in three sentences.
  • Practise addition and subtraction with a number line drawn on paper.
  • Keep a “new words” list of five words a week.
  • Finish homework, then spend five minutes checking signs (+/−) and spelling.

Where students usually get stuck

  • Word problems that hide the operation in a story.
  • Incomplete sentences that start with “because” or “and”.
  • Guessing animal/plant names without looking at textbook pictures.

Using AI tools at this class level

  • Paste one word problem at a time into Math Solver and ask for the story broken into steps.
  • Use Grammar Checker on one sentence, then rewrite it by hand.
  • Ask Homework Solver to explain a science picture in Class 2 language.

Do not copy a full AI paragraph into the notebook. Copy the method, then write the sentence yourself.
