Class 4 Study Guide

How Class 4 students can practise homework, avoid common mistakes, and use AI tools as a tutor—not as a copy-paste answer key.

How to study in Class 4

Class 4 brings grammar rules, early fractions, and more structured EVS. Students need to explain “how” not only “what”.

A practical weekly method

  • Revise grammar with 5 original sentences using the day’s rule.
  • Draw fraction bars or circles before solving textbook exercises.
  • Make a two-column notes page: fact on the left, example on the right.
  • Spend 20 minutes on the hardest subject first, while energy is high.

Where students usually get stuck

  • Fractions that look different but represent the same amount.
  • Confusing “matter”, “energy”, and everyday examples.
  • Long answers copied from the book without understanding.

Using AI tools at this class level

  • Ask Math Solver for a picture explanation of a fraction before the algorithm.
  • Use Grammar Checker to list mistakes, then rewrite the paragraph.
  • Ask Homework Solver for 3 revision questions, not the full exercise.

If a question is for marks, use AI for hints only. Write the final answer from memory.

What to practise first

These are the areas Class 4 students usually need extra time on. Use them as a weekly checklist, then open the matching subject study guide.
